Meals can be enjoyed at The Black Swan - a short walk away

Evening meals are not available at Oldstead Grange. However, we also own and run the Black Swan at Oldstead. The award winning restaurant is ideal, whether for a special occasion dinner or a more casual lunch.

The Black Swan dates back to the 16th century and is set on the edge of the small village of Oldstead amidst beautiful rolling National Park countryside. A quiet haven away from traffic and main roads. Food is served either in the restaurant or the bar or on the oak tables outside.

The Restaurant has a comfortable friendly atmosphere with the oak floor, Persian rugs, antique furniture and soft light from traditional candles in old brass holders giving a feeling of understated quality.

The Bar features a stone flagged floor, an open log fire, oak fittings by Mousey Thompson Craftsmen of Kilburn, window seats, soft cushions and antique furnishings. Choice at the bar includes local real ales, good wines by the glass, malt whiskies and vintage port.
